Purchasing Tickets

Ways to purchase tickets

For most Lake Michigan College Mendel Center events you may select your seats at time of purchase. Seating charts are available for Jenkins Theatre and Hanson Theatres. Seats in the left section of the Jenkins Theatre have odd numbers. Seats in the center section of the Jenkins Theatre have sequential numbers 101-114. Seats in the right section of the Jenkins Theatre have even numbers.

Series ticket packages
When you purchase 3 or more season events, you enjoy money-saving benefits and can be among the first to purchase tickets. Series ticket buyers receive:

  • 10% discount on eligible events
  • Ongoing savings on select season events
  • Ticket exchange privileges up to 7 days prior to an event

Group sales and discounts
Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Pre- and post-show party rooms, catering, bar and beverage services are available to make your event complete. Email boxoffice@lakemichigancollege.edu to arrange your group event at the Mendel Center.

Children and families
For the safety and comfort of all event attendees, all patrons are required to have a ticket, regardless of age. This includes lap-sitting infants. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the Mendel Center. For the benefit of all patrons, children who cause a disruption or are unable to sit quietly may be relocated or asked to leave.

Purchasing tickets from third parties
We strongly recommend that you to purchase Mendel Center event tickets directly from the Mendel Center. If you purchase tickets from a third party (ticket broker, reseller, private party, etc.), you assume all risks related to that transaction. The Mendel Center cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from third parties. If an event is canceled or postponed, all communication will go to the ticket buyer of record in the Mendel Center's ticketing system. You must work directly with that third party for a refund. The Mendel Center is only able to make refunds or apply account credits to those parties who originally purchased the tickets from us. Tickets purchased through third parties do not count toward series discount status.

Return and exchange policy
All tickets are sold as non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Mendel Center Series ticket package purchasers have the exclusive privilege of the ability to exchange tickets up to 7 days before the event.

Personal responsibility statement
The Lake Michigan College Mendel Center offers diverse programming. Not all productions will be appropriate for all audiences or appeal to everyone. Refunds will not be granted based on content. You are encouraged to familiarize yourself with the performance or speaker in order to make an informed ticket purchasing decision. If you have questions about an event, email us at boxoffice@lakemichigancollege.edu.

Severe Weather & Show Cancellations

Event Cancellation and Severe Weather
If an event is postponed due to weather, production, or local health issues, the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center will first attempt to reschedule. Ticket purchasers of record who are unable to attend the rescheduled date will receive a credit to their account when they notify us within the designated period of time. If an event is canceled, ticket holders of record will be notified by email of the cancellation and will be provided with information about ticket refunds.

During inclement weather, if local law enforcement agencies declare a state of emergency in Berrien County, the Mendel Center will postpone or cancel the scheduled event. In the absence of a state of emergency declaration, the decision to have the show as scheduled will largely depend on if the performers and their equipment has safely arrived.

Ticket refunds and credits can only be issued to the purchaser of record in our ticketing system. If you purchased your tickets from a third party (ticket reseller, private individual, etc.) you must work directly with them for a refund.

All refunds are processed through the box office. Email boxoffice@lakemichigancollege.edu.
