Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones, a native of the Michigan Great Lakes, joins The Mendel Center from Western Michigan University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.  She furthered her education by receiving a Master's degree in general counseling from Capella University. Michelle has a natural love for the arts, especially theatre and live music performances. Michelle is a community advocate and has worked throughout Berrien County, serving her community as a case manager for mental health.  She is also a substitute teacher, with her love of serving the local youth beginning at the age of eighteen when elected to a four-year term to the Benton Harbor Area Schools Board of Education.  Michelle's hobbies include dancing, skating, writing poetry, and spending time with family and friends.
