Relive the era of bellbottoms, sparkles, and platforms when The Disco Circus transforms the LMC Mendel Center Jenkins Theatre into a boogie wonderland at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2027.
The Disco Circus delivers a fully immersive disco experience, live on stage. Think Studio 54 energy with live musicians, enough glitter to last a decade, and a playlist that will have everyone partying like it’s 1979 with songs made famous by ABBA, The Bee Gees, The Jackson 5, KC & the Sunshine Band, and so many more.
The 8-person ensemble features live powerhouse vocals, groovy beats, theatrical flair, and onstage shenanigans. The audience will be invited to dance, sing along, and relive the magic of disco in a bold, over-the-top show that’s equal parts nostalgia and spectacle.
This show is for everyone: those who lived the original disco era, those just now discovering the music of the '70s, and everyone in between. The audience is invited to come as they are or break out the bellbottoms and platforms and go all in.
Tickets for the concert event start at $30 and go on sale to the public on Monday, June 15, at 8 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.TheMendelCenter.com/events.
A 10% discount is available for groups of 10 or more. Group tickets can be purchased by emailing the box office at boxoffice@lakemichigancollege.edu.
