Lake Michigan College Mendel Center

Since its inception, the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center has nurtured the next generation of performing arts lovers by offering children's and young people's performances each year. Those performances, along with programming the entire family can enjoy, are what make up the Discovery Series.

Thanks to the Gast Young People's Performance Endowment, the Mendel Center is able to present this fun and engaging programming for our region to enjoy. It is because of the generosity of Warren and Lou Gast who established the endowment that thousands who have grown up in Southwest Michigan can say their very first experience with the performing arts was at the Mendel Center.
